Simple rules for using TightenAI
Terms of Use
Effective and last updated: September 13, 2026
Please read before using TightenAI
These Terms are an agreement between you and Tiger Ventures LLC. By downloading, purchasing, or using TightenAI, you agree to them. Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to the iPhone app.
1. The service
TightenAI helps create and revise video edits using on-device tools and, when selected, cloud AI. Automated cuts, transcripts, captions, and other suggestions may be incomplete or incorrect. You are responsible for reviewing the result before publishing or relying on it.
2. Your account
You are responsible for your account and device access. Provide accurate information, keep your sign-in credentials secure, and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. You may not transfer, rent, or sell access to the service.
3. Your content
You retain ownership of your videos, audio, captions, overlays, and exports. You grant us a limited license to host, copy, process, and transmit that content only as needed to operate and secure the features you request and to comply with law. This license ends when the relevant content is deleted, subject to the retention periods in our Privacy Policy.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to use and process the content you submit, including any music, images, voices, likenesses, trademarks, or other protected material.
4. Subscriptions, trials, and credits
Purchases may be processed by Apple in the app or by RevenueCat and Stripe through website checkout. Each purchase is subject to the price, duration, trial eligibility, renewal terms, tax, and credit allowance shown before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through the purchase source before its stated renewal deadline. Manage an App Store subscription in your Apple account and a website subscription through the website billing-management flow.
AI credits are service allowances, not money or stored value. They cannot be transferred, redeemed for cash, or resold. Unless the purchase screen states otherwise, unused recurring-plan credits do not roll over. We may apply reasonable source-duration, file-size, daily-use, and abuse limits even when an account has credits remaining. A permanent processing failure should return a reserved credit; contact support if it does not.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use TightenAI to:
- violate law or another person’s privacy, publicity, copyright, trademark, or other rights;
- upload malware or content designed to disrupt, probe, or bypass service security;
- circumvent credits, rate limits, subscriptions, App Attest, or access controls;
- reverse engineer the service except where applicable law expressly permits it;
- use the service to create unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or harmful material; or
- interfere with other users or the operation of the service.
6. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features; impose or adjust reasonable technical limits; or restrict access needed to protect users, providers, or the service. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Material subscription changes will be handled as required by the applicable purchase provider and applicable law.
7. Termination and deletion
You may stop using TightenAI at any time and may delete your account in the app or on the website. Deleting an account immediately cancels an active website subscription without creating a refund. It does not cancel an App Store subscription, which remains managed by Apple. We may suspend or terminate access for material or repeated violations, fraud, security threats, nonpayment, or legal requirements. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and a reasonable opportunity to appeal.
8. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TightenAI is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that an automated edit will meet your creative, commercial, legal, accessibility, or platform requirements. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tiger Ventures LLC and its suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost content, profits, revenue, goodwill, or data. Our aggregate liability relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for TightenAI during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or US $100. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.
10. Apple terms
Apple is not responsible for TightenAI or its support. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms as they relate to the licensed iPhone app. The Apple Standard EULA applies and controls where its terms must do so.
11. Contact and changes
We may update these Terms and will post the revised date above. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the revised Terms where permitted by law. Questions can be sent to tightenai@gmail.com.
